Founded in 2014, we are tax accountants and bookkeepers emphasising small business needs. We service Townsville and the surrounding areas around North Queensland.
Founded in 2000, Burdekin Book-keeping Services has been providing bookkeeping, payroll and typing services within the Burdekin region.
On the 1st July 2023, Bella Consultancy has taken on the business, keeping it's original well known name and it's staff. We look forward to continue the working relationship that Cheryl has formed for the last 17 years.
Originally raised in the Burdekin region, Renee moved to Townsville to undertake a Commerce Degree at James Cook University and has resided in Townsville since then. Coming from a background of small business with her parents owning a legal firm in the Burdekin, Renee has gained extensive experience with the day to day operations of small business and the associated problems faced.
Renee’s qualifications and experience:
Renee has in excess of 20 years experience, advising clients predominantly in specialist professional service firms and practices and small to medium enterprises.
Renee has a high level of skills in all forms of taxation, business services, software and payroll.
Renee is married to Rohan and it was after the birth of her son Eamon, it was then Renee decided it was time to follow her dreams and start her own business. Originally, the business was started as a bookkeeping business to help out other small business owners to understand their business and software and be able to work on their business more without having to be bogged down with the day to day data entry. Before the year end, Renee completed her public practicing certificate and incorporated tax and accounting into the business as many of her clients were aware of her experience and wanted the one stop shop where all small business needs are met.
Raised in the Townsville region, Keeley is gaining experience while undergoing her uni degree at James Cook University.
Keeley's qualifications and experience:
Keeley enjoys learning her role and getting to know our clients and help them with their day to day needs. Along with co-ordinating between our clients and staff, Keeley is also enjoying learning the basics of bookkeeping services.
Cheryl has many years experience in bookwork, payroll and typing from all industries. For the last 17 years, Cheryl has worked in the business, Burdekin Book-Keeping Services, within the offices of Groves & Clark.
Cheryl's qualifications and experience:
Born in Charter Towers, Cheryl was raised predominantly within the Burdekin area where she met her husband Bruce and settled in Ayr. They raised their two children, Renee & Leon, and have both lived and worked in Ayr for over 50 years. Cheryl brings extensive knowledge of the Burdekin and surrounding areas
I needed help with the accounting for my business and wanted to go to someone who had significant experience working at a senior level on larger business accounts. When I heard that Renee O'Farrell was starting her own business (Bella Consultancy) I was quick to get on board as I was already aware of her previous experience and track record.
